Detective Conan Movies

Since 1997, there has been an animated Detective Conan movie released during Golden Week each year. With the exception of the first movie, all Detective Conan movies have been among of the highest-grossing movies in the year it was screened in Japan.

Movie 1 - Detective Conan: The Time-Bombed Skyscraper

In this movie, it's Shinichi's birthday. He was invited by Prof. Leo Joel to a party, not knowing that Shinichi shrunk into Conan. Few days before his birthday, he receives a call from a strange man, who seems to be challenging Shinichi. He tells Conan/Shinichi to find several bombs all over Tokyo. Ran, who was waiting for Shinichi in the cinema was caught inside the building when a bomb exploded. Shinichi tries to uncover all the bombs and save Ran's life.

Movie 2 - Detective Conan: The Fourteenth Target

Ran has a nightmare about her mother dying and starts to regain specific memories about the event. Meanwhile, people who have some relation to Mouri Kogoro have been attacked. All of the victims' names correspond to a playing card. These people were targeted in order, from King down to Ace. The police conclude that the attacker wants revenge on Mouri, but as these injuries become murders, Conan realizes that it is a race to predict who the next victim will be. He soon discoverers something quite different from what the police suspected, while learning about an incident from 10 years ago.

Movie 3 - Detective Conan: The Last Wizard of the Century

Kaitou Kid announces to the police that he intends to steal the Russian Imperial Easter Egg, which is currently being held in Osaka. As Conan pursues his rival, he discovers that there's more to this case then simply stopping a robbery.

Movie 4 - Detective Conan: Captured In Her Eyes

An unknown gunner is on the loose killing off police men that have a connection with a case that has details never revived to the mass media. During a wedding party at a hotel, Ran witnesses the identity of the gunner who tried to kill the last remaining officer. But this caused Ran to lost her memory from an emotional shock of the would be murdered officer. As her memories of all her family, friends, and Conan are wiped out. Everyone tries to find a way to slowly get Ran's memory back as she is the only witness to the face of the gunner. Meanwhile Conan deducts all he can on the case by finding out the backgrounds of the 3 possible suspects and the truth of the case that's "not to be known".

Movie 5 - Detective Conan: Count Down to Heaven

A pair of tall towers were about to be open for the public in Tokyo. However a series of murders have occurred on the people who are connected to the towers themselves. Conan and the Junior Detective League are seeking clues to who the murder is. Conan suspects that the Black Organization is involved somehow. Meanwhile Ai has been acting strange as she's around the phone a lot.

Movie 6 - Detective Conan: The Phantom of Baker Street

Conan was invited to a party with many other guests. They were there to test a new virtual game system, when a murder mystery occured. Now Conan must go into the game system to figure out who the murderer is with the help of the famous book character Sherlock Holmes. The lives of 49 kids testing the game are in his hands.

Movie 7 - Detective Conan: Crossroad in the Ancient Capital

Mouri Kogoro is called to a special case in the ancient capital of Kyoto. There, Conan meets Heiji and they team up once again to solve the case, recover the stolen Healing Buddha statue, and even discover the identity of Heiji's first love.

Movie 8 - Detective Conan: Magician of the Silver Sky

An actress asked for Mouri Kogoro to protect a precious jewel of hers which Kid has vowed to steal. On the day of the theft, Kaito Kid dressed up as Shinichi and matched wits with Conan, and fled in the end. To thank them, the actress invited Kogoro and family and friends to Sapporo, but a bigger scheme, and a great emergency is just about to unravel high above the clouds in the plane that they're taking...

Movie 9 - Detective Conan: Strategy Above the Depths

On a luxurious cruise trip paid for by Sonoko, Conan and his gang enjoy the high life on the open seas. However, a shrewd plot for revenge was brewing right under Conan's nose. And this time Mori takes the spotlight, proving his own intuitions right, and beats Conan at his own deduction.

Movie 10 - Detective Conan: The Private Eyes' Requiem

A mysterious man asks Kogoro to go to Yokohama. Ran, Conan and the others go with him. But it was a trap, and Ran and the Detective Boys are taken as hostage. The case, that the mysterious man gave Kogoro, must be solved within 12 hours, or else the bomb, that is worn by Ran and the others, will explode. The criminal also knows that Conan is Shinichi Kudo. Heiji Hattori and Kaito Kid also appear. But who is the criminal? And will Conan and the others manage to save Ran and the Detective Boys?

Movie 11 - Detective Conan: Jolly Roger in the Deep Azure

The Isle of Koumi, a beautiful island in the Pacific Ocean. On the island, people pass an old legend down from generation to generation that there was the Seabed Palace, an ancient ruin at the bottom of the sea, where the treasure of 2 female pirates, Anne Bonnie & Mary Reed, was left. When Conan and his friends visit Koumi Island while on vacation, they meet some treasure hunters. There was something suspicious about them.

Movie 12 - Detective Conan: Full Score of Fear

Serial murders involving all kinds have happened. All the victims are from a Music School led by a famous pianist. Conan and company have been invited to a opening concert of the Music Hall built by the pianist. The biggest attraction of this concert is the world famous violin called "Stradivarius" and a special appearance of a singer who has perfect pitch.

Movie 13 - Detective Conan: The Raven Chaser

A new member from the Black Organization that shrunk Shinichi's body manages to find out about Shinichi's transformation into Conan. This discovery starts to put those around him in danger as Gin and the other Black Organization members starts to take action by eliminating Shinichi and his friends.
